When this page is loaded first, this area in the page will
display an image (random selection from a set) as well as descriptions
about how the Stotras will be displayed.
The Stotras have been grouped under several
headings, typically referring to a specific Deity or texts
from the Scriptures.
The column at right shows the list of Stotra groups. The
list will display clickable links. Clicking on a link will display
the titles of Stotras included in the set of Stotras for that link.
When clicked, titles of the Stotras in the
group will be shown in this frame overwriting the
initial contents.
This Stotra Mala web presentation includes 108 Stotras
on different Deities.
The Titles of the Stotras corresponding to the selected link will be shown in this frame. Each Title is linked to the text of the Stotra and when clicked, the text of the Stotra will appear in a NEW tab/window of the Browser. The text of the Stotra can be seen in Devanagari, IAST and the Script of choice for each title. Translation of the Stotra in English will be provided along with the text.
As indicated earlier, Stotras are presented in the form
of images to provide uniformity in display across systems.
The page displaying the text of the Stotra includes a provision
to hear the Stotra. A link to the Audio rendering of the Stotra
accompanies each Stotra (the link is part of the image when the list
of Stotras is seen). The Audio renderings encompass a Pan India selection
of recitations by children from different parts of the country as well
as classical renderings by distinguished artists.
